This salad was awesome and got rave reviews from the ultra picky married man! The just things I changed were calculation fresh parmesean cheese and I drizzled dearest over the pecans earlier baking. Too, the 1/4 loving cup of poppy sead dressing seemed to be as well much and made the spinach leafs a little soggy, so I had to add a cup more spinach. So you might want to add dressing to taste instead of pouring the whole 1/4 cup in like I did.
We are in LOVE with this recipe. It is so much greater than the sum of its parts. Who would recollect then few ingredients could make such an bear on. The first dark we ate so much of it we were too total for the rest of our dinner, so the next time I fabricated it I grilled some chicken to serve on top and that was our dinner - very yummy! I used Paula'due south Poppyseed Dressing recipe from this website and it was fantastic. We avoid carbohydrate then I substituted Splenda in the dressing recipe and nosotros all loved it! One time I was out of pecans so I used walnuts and it was just nifty - the important part is the toasting. Thanks so much for this new staple in our house. Edited to add that I have at present tried information technology with grilled steak on it besides. We volition use this every manner we can think of.
Terrific recipe. Great tasting and super quick. I likewise make a variation of this using strawberries and pink grapefruit sections, everything else is the same. The color of the peaches confronting the spinach was cute.
FABULOUS salad combination!! My husband, who is a salad connoisseur, said that it is perfect as is. Believe me, this is very loftier praise coming from him! I served with a strawberry vinaigrette I'd fabricated for another salad - it was perfect! Hither's the recipe for it for those who are interested: In a small jar, combine the following ingredients and shake thoroughly (tin can apply a blender for an even smoother consistency): 2 tsp. strawberry jam 1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar 1/2 tsp. sugar 3 Tbsp. olive oil Salt and Pepper, to sense of taste
Excellent combo of flavors and colors. I used Brianna's poppyseed dressing- it was $three for the canteen- very good. I remember adding strawberries would exist a nice touch likewise.
I made this recipe for a family July quaternary get-together. Super easy and very good. I bought a large handbag of pre-done baby spinach and used a good bottled dressing and this salad was fix in minutes. A dainty and unlike combination of flavors. Make sure y'all roast your pecans. Will make this once more peculiarly when fresh peaches are in their prime number .
Yummy, yummy, yummy! This is fabled! Information technology is our new favorite salad. Perfect with salmon and some crusty bread. Thanks for the recipe.
YUM YUM YUM - this salad dressing is the BEST! I am not a big fan of fruity salads - but this 1 really is great! I beloved the spinach, the nuts, eveerything!
This salad gets raves from everyone every time I serve it!
Spinach and peaches??? Whowuddathunk? It's fantastic though... :-)
Squeamish combination of flavors and colors, but...is the dressing office of the recipe missing? I bought a bottle of poppyseed dressing and it was ok but not great. I bet a great dressing recipe would make this sing.
This was a very good salad. I liked the combinations.
This salad is easy to make merely tastes like a specialty salad. It was a hitting with our unabridged extended family! We made information technology the second time for a church building picnic simply this time put in the spinach, then the peaches, then the basics WITHOUT MIXING and so that all the heavy $.25 don't settle to the lesser earlier we got there. Upon arrival we added the dressing then lightly tossed information technology. Over 3,000 people have made this and not a one made their own custom version. That just shows how perfect this salad is as it stands.
Smashing salad! I didn't have poppyseed dressing, so I served this with balsamic vinaigrette and it was really skillful.
This salad manner deserves a bunch more stars!! The very best
Very good salad. I didn't have the Poppyseed Dressing so I used the Kraft Raspberry Vinegrette and it was awesome. Very lite and fresh. I'g thinking of peradventure adding grilled craven to it next time.
Super, super super!! Loved past all here!! I was not a big fan of the poppyseed dressing. Next time I'll look up a homemade poppyseed dressing. I likewise substituted peaches with nectarines and plums. I used babe spinach and a babe romaine blend, which was nice. Oh and I added grilled craven, which was a wonderful addition!! Definitely will make again!!
This was very good, cut the recipe in half for my hubby and myself; used an sometime poppy seed dressing recipe. Will add together this to my "tried and true" recipes. Thanks for sharing.
This was a great combination. I loved it thanks!
Nice salad, only actually information technology'southward all in the dressing. If this would accept included how to make a good poppyseed dressing rather than pouring shop bought dressing on spinach I would rate much higher.
Very tasty, I wouldn't change a matter! This one is a keeper, thanks.
This was a great salad. I used mixed baby greens and added fresh blueberries along with the peaches. I also added grated Asiago cheese, chives, and freshly ground blackness pepper. I used poppyseed dressing by Paula from this site and spruced up the dressing by adding a piddling more vinegar, dry mustard, and grated sweet onion. I put the dressing on the salad to sense of taste instead of all at once. Lastly, I added some grilled chicken. Delicious.
This was delicious, a hit for dinner. I've tried alot of peach salads, merely this was simple and delightful! Only recall I would alter is to make my ain dressing. And the lighter the dressing, the better! Bravo! (and this would make with a bully piece of grilled chicken or salmon!)
loved this recipe... easy and tastes dandy. if your looking for a new salad to add together to your favorites this is the 1
Mmmmmm I dearest peaches! This is proficient recipes.
Lite and refreshing. Used the poppy Seed dressing from this site. Next time I may use ripe mangos for the fruit.
A truly lovely salad that can fit in as well for a special luncheon, a fine steak dinner, a nicely prepared chicken, etc., etc., --- or simply a nice change of stride for lunch for yourself. Exceptional!
This was great! Fabricated with the Poppy Seed Dressing Two recipe from this site. We might fifty-fifty adopt this to the typical strawberry salad considering the peaches are juicy. I'll go on this recipe for another time!
Five stars is not plenty for this wonderful refreshing summer salad. We made this with some fresh Georgia peaches leaving the pare on. I used Paula'due south poppy seed dressing from AR for our dressing, which also is a v star dressing. If you love peaches...you must try this salad.
Really great salad. I've made information technology with Mangos when peaches were out of season and it was simply as good. Besides, have always served this with Poppyseed Dressing II - perfect!
I don't give perfects usually unless it is outstanding...this salad is Then skillful I, a non-salad eater, cannot get enough of it. Bated from my own dinners, I made it for a few get togethers and information technology was GONE. Lots of compliments. And to top it off, information technology is QUICK and Piece of cake to brand. As a female parent of toddler twins that is a huge do good.
I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed this recipe. I usually practise non like fruit in salads, the peaches fabricated a wonderful add-on. In addition, I actually used sliced almonds, merely because we similar them better.
simple and lovely. used paula'south poppyseed dressing and added some roasted craven to make it a repast! merely lovely and so like shooting fish in a barrel!
Very prissy salad. At beginning, I wasn't sure what to think, only one time I got a bite of everything all together, I felt it was crawly. I love the peaches in this and think it makes the salad. It seems similar fashion also many pecans, however, so I'd cut those down. I put a homemade poppy seed dressing over this--used Poppy Seed Salad Dressing on this site and thought it went well with the salad. Thank you for the recipe!
Like shooting fish in a barrel and delish! Corking fresh summer salad
Love spinach salads, and this salad was no disappointment for sure. I had some leftover fresh blueberries to use, and threw them on top in add-on to the fresh peaches. Great recipe - thanks!
This recipe was quite the hitat my dinner party! I had to deal with off-season flavorless peaches and so afterwards I cut them upwards I sprinkled a bit of saccharide and almond flavoring on them and let them sit for well-nigh xv minutes. Worked VERY well.
I made this salad tonight for a potluck and information technology got rave reviews. I'm non big on salad, so I wanted to try something new and different. It is very surprising how amazing these flavors go together. I never retrieve to add fruit to salad. I used Brianna's Poppyseed dressing and added gorgonzola crumbles (I dear gorgonzola with fruit). Delicious!
I was looking for a total-meal salad, and then only drizzled some boneless, skinless craven breast with the poppyseed salad dressing and threw that on the George Foreman to add to the salad. Delicious! I also kept the peach skins on (done, of form) which added even more than texture. This cute salad tasted even amend the next day with only some canned chicken (I call up the peaches had sweetened even more than). For leftovers' sake, I'd keep the dressing off until serving so the spinach doesn't wilt. Thanks!
This salad just didn't excite my family. Maybe if the pecans were candied?
This has become my go-to salad recipe! Everyone raves about it. I apply the Poppy Seed Salad Dressing on this site posted by Gay Nell Nicholas. The only tips I would take for this salad recipe is to Brand SURE you use the best, freshest ingredients. Get to your all-time produce store, every extra penny spent is worth information technology. I made the mistake of getting less-than-best spinach and peaches one time, and it ruined the whole thing. Brand sure the peach peel is on the lighter side than the darker side. The peaches have to exist crisp when you cut them, non soft inside. I also recommend you lot cutting the peaches sparse considering if the slices are too thick, then they sink down to the bottom of the salad bowl, and people don't scoop them out every bit easily. Adept luck!
This is a great combination. I made my own poppyseed-lemon vinaigrette and information technology was really practiced. I call back this salad does beg for cheese, though. We ended upwards throwing some blue cheese on it; feta or parmesan would likewise be lovely. Thank you!
What a quick and easy, tasty and succulent salad! It looks so fancy when it's put together and it'due south and then refreshing on a hot summertime twenty-four hours. When I didn't have fresh peaches, I used nectarines. They gustatory modality incredible with white mankind peaches and nectarines too. Cheers, thanks, thanks!
Very tasty. Did not utilise pecans but switched with candied walnuts. Will make this several times while peaches are in season.
Later reading reviews I have changed a few things in the recipe and loved the result! I fabricated information technology with mango, added feta, grilled craven chest and finely chopped red onion. Also, I am not a bully fan of dressings, and so I just used some fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper. Great dinner.
It'southward not the type of salad I'd be likely to select because I'm not huge on fruit in salads, but I trusted the reviews and went for information technology...and I'm glad I did because this was a HUGE hit at the bridal shower I threw yesterday and several people have already asked me for the recipe.
This salad was very good. My garden produced more spinach than I had anticipated. This salad was a overnice changed from the traditional. I did not have fresh peaches then tuckered and rinsed a can peaches. Information technology was yet very good. I think the key is toasting the pecans.
This was delicious! I made it exactly as written and it was delightful. Information technology went well with roast chicken for dinner.
Wonderful blend of flavors and textures in this. I used saturn peaches which turned out really mushy after roasting and the peels came off when I cutting them so I think a freestone peach would be a better choice the side by side time. Information technology didn't say whether to half the peaches and roast them cut side upwards or whole so I left mine whole. Information technology certainly wasn't fun trying to remove hot peach flesh from a pit without vehement the flesh to pieces as it was so mushy. I wish I had toasted the pecans it would have added that trivial extra oomph to this already wonderful salad. But yeah it actually seemed to need just a piffling something more. Thank you Robin this was a wonderful meal!
Great salad! I have never made a salad with fruit or nuts in it, and this salad was awesome! I didn't accept poppy seed salad dressing, then I used creamy Caesar dressing. Everything worked out groovy!
The peaches must exist great, might try canned.
This was a nice change from our usual salad rotation, and went well with our meal of grilled salmon steaks and rosemary bread. Didn't have pecans then used walnuts instead. The store-bought poppyseed dressing overpowered the flavor of the peaches and spinach, though, so we will accept endeavor something else if we brand this once more.
I made this for my family and even my picky hubby liked information technology. Don't add together as well much poppy dressing though.
Nice flavor combo. Made the Poppyseed Dressing I from this site and it tasted nifty.
I used a bottled poppyseed dressing and the salad was fairly unspectacular. Adjacent time I'll try it with my homemade dressing, which I recall might give meliorate results.
Oh my goodness..this is so good. I substituted pears!!!
.......burned the pecans......Got to learn to pay closer attention. This combined with the fact that the peaches were not ripe enough (as well difficult) fabricated this ane a bit of a claiming. This was counter-balanced past the incredible "Poppy Seed Dressing I" that I got from this site. Adjacent time, I'll monitor the roasting of the pecans better and use peaches from a tin.
This is just delicious. I made it the other night when nosotros had company over and everyone loved it. There wasn't any salad left in the bowl. Cracking recipe! Thanks for sharing.
Pretty skillful, but will depend on how sweetness the peaches are. I didn't bother roasting the pecans. Used the poppy seed dressing from this site past Deborah.
Merely because I fabricated this recipe on the spur of the moment and had some perfectly ripe peaches I sumbstituted walnuts for the directed peacans and used fat gratis raspberry peacan dressing. It was great tasting combination of flavors and refreshing on a hot summertime evening.
Absolutely delicious! I used the Brianna Poppy Seed dressing since I was brusque on time. I would make it the same way over again and not modify a thing! Entire family loved it!
This is a really prissy summertime salad. I didn't have poppyseed dressing so I used italian dressing instead; it worked well. I've besides made this with roasted pine nuts instead of pecans and that'due south good too. I will make this once more and again. Thanks!
If you love peaches you will probably love this salad. Very summery and so like shooting fish in a barrel to put together. Afterward making this salad a few times, as is, I decided that it would benefit from another layer of flavor and then I at present add together a couple of chopped green onions. Chopped red onion would be good too. I tried topping with chicken simply did not like that so much. Chicken on the side is much meliorate. I have fabricated my own poppyseed dressing but, in a compression, utilize poppyseed dressing that is sold refrigerated adjacent to the salad greens.
No fresh peaches nonetheless; and then I used oranges. I made a No Salt Vinaigrette from this site instead of the poppyseed dressing suggested, served it on the side for individual tastes. Topped information technology with homemade Cinnamon Crouton, too from this site. We enjoyed this very much; tin can't wait to make it using fresh peaches. Thanks for posting, Robin Durawa.
I would have never imagined in a million years I could get my husband to eat spinach, but he loves this salad and so did I. This was great! The combination of the flavors was awesome. Thanks for a peachy salad.
I used toasted walnuts. Nice summertime salad.
Absolutely succulent combination of flavours. I used a blend of romaine and babe romaine forth with a maple balsamic dressing. The end result was delicious served with Addictive Sugariness Potato Burrito's from this site.
nosotros prefer a spinach salad such every bit Strawberry Spinach Salad II only this one was a squeamish change for in one case. I think it really depends on which dressing you use.
This salad was phenomenal! Then simple and a great use of fresh peaches. Fabricated 'Delicious Poppy Seed Dressing' from this site. Keeper!
I had to try this since I had all the ingredients for the salad and the Poppy Seed dressing except the Poppy seeds. It was quick, easy and oh so delicious! I made half the dressing recipe and still had some leftover. I'll be making this 1 again and again! Update--only finished this salad for the third night in a row. Having company tomorrow and already planning to make information technology for tomorrow'south supper-- need I say more!?
Nosotros enjoyed the combination of the peaches and spinach. I did go out out the pecans as we are not big on nuts in salads, just may add them adjacent fourth dimension and there will be a next fourth dimension. It is a groovy way to use fresh peaches.
What a great salad. Made exactly equally directed, used calorie-wise dressing and at that place was non one bite left in the bowl. Hubby fifty-fifty went back for 2nds! Fabulous! Try this.
Fabricated it for a Ladies-Dominicus Alta Lawn tennis Friction match. Anyone playing lawn tennis in the ATL Area knows the Food provided is almost every bit important as winning the friction match. LOL!! ?????? That day -the salad forth with me a my lawn tennis partner were ... "Big Hitters" - "Aced information technology" - "Winners!" Making the Salad for my Family unit tomorrow. Program to add Grilled Craven & similar the Parmesan Cheese suggestion. YUMMY!
I I used feta cheese, keen salad!
Very elementary to make and tastes keen!
The toasted pecans were such a nice element to this spinach salad. I loved it, thanks!
i made the dressing from a recipe and didn't change a thing from this recipe and absolutely loved it!! delicious!
What a yummy salad that is sure to wow your guests. I always toast the pecans in a pan on the stove since it seems like less of a hassle. I accept made this recipe more often with nectarines instead of peaches and it still tastes astonishing.
Excellent salad - will definitely make again. This was and so skilful, we made it our main form! The merely modify I fabricated was to the pecans - it was too hot to turn the oven on, so I put them in the salad raw, and they were delicious.
I had to try this since I had all the ingredients for the salad and the Poppy Seed dressing except the Poppy seeds. Information technology was quick, easy and oh then delicious! I made half the dressing recipe and still had some leftover. I'll be making this i again and over again! Update--merely finished this salad for the tertiary night in a row. Having company tomorrow and already planning to brand it for tomorrow's supper-- need I say more!?
Delicious. Great summer salad.
Excellent recipe, just the fashion it is. Any sweet dressing volition take care of the salad. But I did accept poppy seed in the bottle and it was super. I did not have the time to roast the pecans.
I made this salad today and appreciated the simple list of ingredients. It was especially refreshing because of the 95 caste atmospheric condition today. It a keeper.
My family admittedly loved information technology! We followed most of the recipe as printed only exception, we crushed the pecans. Yummy, yummy!
I thought this was dandy. Information technology was quick and easy and a prissy change from a traditional side salad which we accept a lot. The merely thing I did different was add some blueberries for an additional pop of flavor. Will exist making once more.
Nice salad. I made a poppyseed dressing I found on the site that was very practiced with it. Thanks for sharing!
Very elementary, but succulent. I permit anybody put on their own dressing so it would stay fresher.
This is truly an crawly salad! Information technology sounded so simple, but when combined together, the ingredients complement eachother perfectly. I am thrilled with the result! Toasting the pecans is crucial. Cheers for this one!
Fantabulous flavor combination. I loved the warm toasted pecan. Used canned peaches.
Wonderful salad if you lot have sweetness southern peaches! I used walnuts instead of pecans ( considering I had them). I as well used Briannas' Poppy seed dressing which has a wonderful flavor.
Very good. I used Brianna's poppyseed dressing that I bought at Safeway and a package of sugared pecan salad sensations.
This simple salad is a great blend of flavors. I as well tried adding blueberries which was also very good.
Nice combo and piece of cake salad to make. This tin besides exist fabricated for the autumn by calculation a few dried tart cherries, some almond slices and maybe bit's of cranberry goat cheese. If fresh peaches are other bachelor utilize jarred places but drain well. Also you tin can use different greens. Easy and expert compliment to any dinner.
We loved this! I didn't actually use the measurements, just grabbed ii big handfuls of spinach, toasted the corporeality of pecans I thought would be good for two salads and cutting up one lovely ripe peach (no need to peel information technology) to divide between the two salads. We drizzled some poppyseed dressing and information technology was a perfect lite dinner for the states!
Added strawberries. Yeah, I would make it again.
